A 14-year-old boy was stabbed at a Miramar park on Friday after another teenager became upset that he was losing during a pickup football game.
The boy, whose name was not released, was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening, said Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues.
“It involved some teenagers that were playing football,” Rues said. “One of them became upset when he was losing and pulled out a knife.”
The suspected attacker, 16, was arrested and charged in the incident, although the exact charges are not known. His identity was withheld.
