When a man entered CVS with his head covered and socks on his hands, he had no idea that his plan to rob the drug store was about to be thwarted.
That’s because two Hollywood officers found his attire a bit suspicious, police said.
So when the man walked up to the register, officers were there to see him pull down a stocking cap and threaten the cashier.
“The suspect implied he had a weapon and told the cashier to, ‘Give me everything you got and don’t press any buttons,’” police said.

The incident, which happened about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at 901 N. Federal Hwy., ended with 29-year-old Paul Lopez in cuffs.
Lopez, who was being held in Broward’s Main Jail on a $25,000 bond, faces charges of robbery with a weapon and resisting an officer.
