Hollywood police search for driver involved in hit-and-run crash

Hollywood Police on Tuesday released information about a hit-and-run accident last week in hopes of finding the person responsible for the crash that left a motorcyclist in critical condition.

The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at North 56th Avenue and Sheridan Street.

According to police, a newer model gray or silver Dodge Challenge, entering a nearby Wendy's parking lot, cut the motorcyclist off, leaving him in critical condition.

Police said the driver of the car was described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a military uniform. Police have not named the motorcylist.
