Traffic incident leads to shooting in Pembroke Pines

Police are investigating a traffic-related incident in Pembroke Pines that escalated into a shooting

Pembroke Pines Police said the incident happened in the 15800 block of westbound Pines Boulevard Monday afternoon.

The incident, police said, escalated into a physical confrontation and one person pulled out a firearm and shot the victim in the arm.

The victim was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

One subject was detained and is being questioned by investigators.
