He has an ‘altered mental state’ and a violent past. Now, where is he?
Why are Plantation police so eager for help in finding 51-year-old Gabriel Sanchez?
Cops say Sanchez has “an altered mental state,” is “known to have violent tendencies” and has felony warrants from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Police didn’t include that Sanchez has a felony past that includes carjacking.
Sanchez, five-foot-nine and 160 pounds, is homeless. He was last seen in the 400 block of Northwest 42nd Avenue in Plantation. He’ll sometimes use his brother Enrique’s name.
He knows the tri-county area — his listed address when he was arrested for grand theft in Broward in March was in West Palm Beach, and the Department of Corrections lists a Miami trailer park as his address after his last prison stint.
Sanchez’s four prison stretches all involve burglary and grand theft. Anyone seeing Sanchez should contact local law enforcement.
