Third suspect sought in murder of man found in trunk of burning Pontiac
There’s now a third name connected to the body of Detroit’s Darren Butler, found inside the trunk of his Pontiac G6 after it was torched in North Lauderdale's Bicentennial Park on Nov. 14: Miami’s Jeffrey Harrell.
Unlike 18-year-old Rougiena Deriveire or convicted felon Johntavis McCoe, both facing first-degree murder charges, the 27-year-old Harrell isn’t in custody. Broward Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday they’re looking for Harrell, a convicted armed robber.
Anyone with information on Harrell’s whereabouts can call BSO Det. Kevin Forsberg at 954-421-4200; Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 (TIPS) or go to the Broward Crime Stoppers website.
