Rollover car crash into an I-95 pond kills two men

Two men were killed in a rollover crash early Thursday afternoon after their car crashed off Interstate 95 in Deerfield Beach, authorities said.

The car, a Honda, was traveling north on the highway with two men inside near Hillsboro Boulevard when it ran off the road and crashed into a pond around 12:30 p.m., said Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky.

Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue took the men, who were not identified, to North Broward Medical Center. Wysocky said they were pronounced dead there shortly after the crash.

Authorities are investigating the deaths.
