Police investigating second shooting at a South Florida CVS in 19 hours
Davie police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting at the CVS near the corner of Griffin Road and Southwest 78th Avenue.

One man was taken to Hollywood Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition after the shooting, which happened around 1 p.m. Late Wednesday, Miami Herald news partner CBS4 reported the man had died.
This is the second shooting at a South Florida CVS in 19 hours. Tuesday night, a customer at a CVS in South Miami-Dade shot a would-be robber.
Dale Engle, a spokesman for Davie police, said in an email “a person we believe might be the shooter was transported to the police department and is being interviewed.”
