He bolted while trying on necklace at a jewelry store. BSO says they found the culprit.

The man who bolted from a Tamarac jewelry store while trying on a necklace was caught, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Louis Smith, 24, was arrested Thursday and charged with strong armed robbery.

Detectives say Smith walked into Nina's Jewelry and Watch Supercenter, 7112 N. University Dr., Tamarac, Tuesday and tried on a necklace and bolted, knocking someone down in the process.

On Wednesday, BSO released surveillance video of the incident.
