Duo goes on robbery spree in Hollywood. Cops hope video will help find the culprits.
In the course of a week, a robbery duo managed to hit up a fast food joint, a convenience store and a food market, Hollywood police said.
What they probably didn’t consider: Surveillance cameras were rolling as they pulled out guns and demanded cash.
On Thursday, Hollywood police released video captured at about 9:15 pm. Sept. 19 at the Bonjour Food Market, 312 North Federal Highway.
The video shows two men entering the store and then going off camera. Seconds later, one of the two men is seen behind a glass shield with the clerk demanding cash. The other man pulled a gun from his waistband as a patron tried to get away.
Police say they fled with $600.
The same duo hit up two other Hollywood businesses in the same week.
Less than 30 minutes after the first robbery, the pair robbed a Shell gas station, 815 North Federal Highway, police said.
Then on Sept. 21, police said the two men committed an armed robbery at Subway, 2312 Hollywood Blvd.
Anyone who may have information is asked to call 954-967-4411 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
