Man jumps out of a car, shoots another man dead

A 47-year-old man was shot and killed early Thursday morning in a drive-by shooting.

Rodney Chisholm was standing in front of a home at 609 NW 27th Ave. near Fort Lauderdale just before 2 a.m., according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. As a car pulled up, a man jumped out and shot at Chisholm multiple times before fleeing.

At least one bullet hit Chisholm.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue took Chisholm to Broward Health Medical Center, where he later died.
