Two injured in Dania Beach shooting

A male and a female were shot Monday night in Dania Beach and hospitalized for their injuries, police said Tuesday.

Police responded to a call around 9:20 p.m. near NW 5th Avenue in Dania Beach, where they found a male and female suffering from gunshot wounds, said Broward Sheriff spokeswoman Joy Oglesby.

Both were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, she said. Police did not disclose their conditions.

BSO is investigating, Oglesby added.
