A man driving through Hallandale Beach on his way home from work with his two teenage children was killed Wednesday when he was shot, forcing him to crash into a pole, according to police.
His 17-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son, one in the front seat of the Chevy sedan and the other in the back, were uninjured, according to police.
The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Foster Road.
Police Chief Dwayne Flournoy said the man, who was still in his work clothes, “had no connection with the community.”
