Man known as ‘Pig’ wanted for kidnapping, shooting his girlfriend

A man who goes by the name ‘Pig’ is wanted by the Broward Sheriff's Office after detectives say he shot and kidnapped his girlfriend from an Oakland Park hotel earlier this month.

According to BSO, Bruce Williams, 34, is wanted an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon warrant.

Just after noon May 8, deputies were called to Universal Palms Hotel, 4900 Powerline Rd., after a report of shots being fired.

When deputies arrived, witnesses said Williams had shot his 36-year-old girlfriend and kidnapped her, according to BSO.

He then dropped her off outside of the emergency room entrance of a hospital and took off, BSO said. As of Tuesday, the unidentified woman remained in the hospital in critical condition, according to BSO.

Williams is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs around 220 pounds. He may be driving a 2016 silver Hyundai Tucson with an Illinois tag of R364796, BSO said.
