All-clear given after Broward College receives bomb threat
Broward College gave the all-clear around 9 p.m. Friday night after authorities investigated a bomb threat made about three hours earlier.
At around 6:15 p.m., a male caller dialed the non-emergency number for the Broward Sheriff’s Office and made a bomb threat to Broward College without specifying a campus. Pembroke Pines police investigated with bomb-sniffing dogs and found no threat. The college sent out a message giving the all-clear around 9 p.m., adding that facilities remained closed for the rest of the evening.
The emergency situation at Broward College is now over. Facilities remain closed for the remainder of the evening.
