Armed robbers help themselves to cell phones, iPads at AT&T store

Two men walked into a Miramar AT&T store over the weekend, but they weren’t looking to buy anything.

Detectives say they forced the employees into the back at gunpoint and left with a bag full of cellphones and iPads.

Detectives on Thursday released surveillance video in hopes of identifying the men involved.

The robbery happened Saturday at the store, 14623 Miramar Pkwy.

Two men can be seen entering the store — which was empty besides the two employees. At one point the men escort the employees to the back.

One man loads up a red bag with items from a safe as one employee watches. The robbers then force the employees in a bathroom.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
