A two-bank robbery day for South Florida on Wednesday
A Bank of America branch in Hialeah was robbed Wednesday afternoon, just two hours after a TD Bank branch in Pembroke Pines was hit Wednesday morning.
The robberies, while pulled off by different men, shared characteristics. Each perpetrator wore a baseball hat and sunglasses. Each approached a teller, demanded money, got it and left without incident.
The criminal who struck the TD Bank, 14836 Pines Blvd., at 9:56 a.m. sported a full beard while the robber at 175 Hialeah Drive at 12:08 p.m. was clean shaven.
Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Crimestoppers at 305-471-8477.
