Babysitter charged with DUI in crash that killed 6-year-old girl

Nearly a year and a half after an intoxicated Deerfield Beach woman with four unrestrained children turned into the path of a speeding truck that killed her 6-year-old passenger, the woman has been booked on nearly two dozen criminal charges.

Shirley Coto, 40, was arrested Sunday and booked into the Broward Main Jail about 3 p.m. on charges that include manslaughter, DUI and child neglect.
