A dirt-biker rider was killed Monday night after crashing into an SUV near Fort Lauderdale, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Lance Riley, 22, of Fort Lauderdale was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. Monday at Northeast 27th Avenue and Eighth Place. Riley was heading north on a yellow and white Suzuki dirt bike when he hit a southbound Ford Explorer driven by Freddie Jordan, 57, of Fort Lauderdale.
The Broward sheriff’s traffic homicide unit is investigating.
