Two men leave a strip club in a BMW. But first they shoot, detectives say
After spending several hours at a West Park gentleman's club, Anthony Edwards headed to the parking lot.
That's when, according to Broward Sheriff Office detectives, two unidentified men began shooting at him from a white four-door BMW.
Surveillance cameras at the club captured images of the men when they entered the Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club, 2700 SW 58th Ave. and left. There are also images of them getting in the car and leaving.
According to BSO, Edwards got to the club around midnight Sept. 17 and walked out at about 4:30 a.m.
Edwards, who was shot six times, was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The video shows two men getting into the white BMW and pulling out of the lot only minutes before the shooting, BSO said.
Detectives described one of the men as heavyset, with a shaved head and short dark beard. He wore a T-shirt, jeans and several gold necklaces. The second man, detectives said, had a muscular build, short dark hair and a short beard. He wore a T-shirt with a camouflage print.
Anyone with information is asked to call BSO Det. Joe Sedawie at 954-321-4328 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
