After lower odds of rain during the workweek, South Florida could see some rain during the first weekend of June.

"There is some disturbance starting to come out of the Caribbean, from late this weekend to early next week," National Weather Service Miami meteorologist Barry Baxter said.

Baxter, who also said that Miami is settling into a "typical summertime pattern," gives a 50-to-60 percent chance of rain on Sunday and Monday, higher than the 20-to-30 percent chance of rain listed for Wednesday through Friday and the 30-40 percent precipitation odds for Tuesday.

Most of this week's potential rain comes from sea breeze driven storms, Baxter said.
