Visiting woman who disappeared found in Miami

UPDATE: The missing woman was found early Sunday in Miami, according to reports.


A Palm Beach County woman went missing Friday night after she called her father saying she was in trouble and needed help.

Luz Aquino was last seen at 9:15 p.m. Friday walking in the Palm Beach International Airport parking garage, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. She told the officer her ride did not show up.

The 28-year-old woman flew from Denver, Colorado, into PBIA on Friday night to visit her Dad in West Palm Beach. Around 11 a.m. she called her Dad and told him she had rented a car and was going out with friends in Miami.

His next call was after midnight, when Aquino told him she was in trouble and needed help. She hasn’t been heard from since.

Aquino is five feet, five inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She rented a 2015 Chrysler black 200 Limited car with the tag number VLW1154. She was last seen in a gray t-shirt, jeans and pink sneakers.
