Rainy start to week in South Florida, then a cool-down Thursday
The first workweek of 2015 is getting off to a soggy start.
On Monday, rain pockets spread through South Florida. That wet-and-warm forecast pretty much sums up the week through Wednesday.
And then ...
“We’re in for a nice cool-down by the end of the week,” said CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez.
Overnight temperatures will gradually get cooler through the week. The low will drop to 70 Tuesday night and then down to 61 on Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The high on Thursday won’t reach 70 in South Florida.
Temperatures are expected to warm up some on Friday, with a high back in the mid-70s.
Just be thankful you’re not in Minneapolis, where people woke up Monday to 10-below, with winds that made it feel twice as cold.
