Friday will bring more muggy, warm weather to South Florida.
Highs will rise to the low- to mid-80s through the region.
But the cool is coming.
“Boom! Just in time for the weekend,” said CBS4 meteorologist Michael Smith.
A cool front will pass through after rain on Friday (there’s a 40 precent chance), dropping overnight lows to the low- to mid-60s. Some areas will drop into the high-50s.
Saturday is expected to be breezy, sunny and seasonable, with highs in the mid-70s, before another night of lows in the 60s.
Enjoy it while it lasts over the weekend. Forecasters expect the heat and humidity to return next week.
