Coast Guard search for missing teens off Jupiter coast

The Coast Guard released photos Saturday of two teen boys who never returned from a fishing trip on Friday afternoon off the coast of Jupiter.

Austin Stephanos, 14, and Perry Cohen, 14, were last seen at 1:30 p.m. Friday, after they purchased fuel in the Jupiter area.

The boys were aboard a 19-foot white single engine center console vessel when the Coast Guard Sector Miami began searching at 5 p.m. Friday.

An HC-144 airplane and MH-65 helicopter were dispatched out of Miami, along with boatcrews from Lake Worth, Fort Pierce and Palm Beach to search for the pair.

Anyone with information on the missing teens is asked to call local authorities.
