Florida police officer seen on video saving man from choking at car wash. Take a look

Have you ever been at the right place and at the right time? Well, this Florida police officer sure was.

Security camera footage from inside a Boca Raton car wash and gas station taken Thursday shows when a man quickly approached Officer Stephen Bissoon — making hand gestures and turning around with his back towards the officer. The Boca Raton officer quickly noticed what was wrong: The man was choking.

Bissoon, an 18-year veteran, immediately started performing the Heimlich maneuver, lifting the choking man up at least two times until he gasped for breath. The man, whose life had just been saved by Bissoon, then bent forward with his hands on his knees.

“The gentleman was eating his lunch when he started choking and ran to Officer Bissoon for help,” Boca Raton police said on social media. “The officer successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver.”

“The gentleman expressed how grateful he is that the officer was there in his moment of need.”
