‘Just come home, Kate.’ A South Florida girl left her house Saturday and is missing

Kate Roberts left her Boynton Beach home on Sealofts Drive around 8 p.m. Saturday. That’s the last time the 13-year-old with a history of running away has been seen.

This time, her mother, Tempress Reese, made a public plea for her daughter to come home.

With a Boynton Beach police officer sitting next to her Monday morning, Reese said, “I don’t know what could make you want to leave, We didn’t get into an argument or nothing, I don’t know what’s going on. But, we have been through this before and I just want you to come home.

“We have spoken about this,” she continued. “It’s dangerous out there. I don’t know who you’re with, but you need to come home. I just want you to come home. Whatever it is, we can talk about it.

“Just come home, Kate.”

Police say Kate is five-foot-four, weighs about 100 pounds and has long, black box braids. She recently got her fingernails done in bright pink. When last seen, she was wearing a blank tank top, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about Kate’s whereabouts should call Boynton Beach police at 561-732-8116 or 911.
