One patient and several staff members were evacuated from the building, WSVN reports.

The center is “grateful” that no one was injured, said a Leon Medical Center spokesperson.

“The building that suffered damage due to the recent small fire, offers limited services and is not in close proximity to the main medical center. ... All medical services provided in the Leon Medical Centers Little Havana location, continue as usual” and patient care has not been interrupted, a statement from Leon Medical Centers read.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
