Police investigate motorcyclist’s death in Southwest Dade

Police are investigating the death of a man who appears to have been killed after he crashed his motorcycle into a concrete barrier in southwest Miami-Dade County on Saturday morning.

A Miami-Dade detective at the scene of the crash at Southwest 112th Avenue and 232nd Street would only say the matter is a “death investigation.”

The man’s body was lying in between two barriers behind a Walgreens drug store.

One of the wheels of his motorcycle was by his feet. The rest of the bike was on the other side of the barriers.

Police were still clearing the scene Saturday afternoon.
