Fuel truck overturns, spills gas over tarmac at Palm Beach International Airport

A fuel truck overturned and spilled fuel on the Palm Beach International Airport tarmac. Palm Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene and began cleanup as aircraft were redirected away from the spill.

Travelers at Palm Beach International Airport were slightly delayed Saturday when a fuel truck overturned.

Just before 1:30 p.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue tweeted they were working on the fuel truck spill.

Firefighters stabilized the truck and then offloaded the fuel before righting the truck. There were no injuries and aircraft activity was redirected away from the spill.

Fire rescue did not say what caused the spill.
