Three people were sent to the hospital Thursday after they started feeling ill on a Delta plane at Miami International Airport, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Airport officials told the Miami Herald a flight from Miami to Atlanta was delayed Thursday morning after three people reported feeling sick. Fire Rescue responded and transported the three to a nearby hospital.
Rescue and airport officials would not disclose the nature of the people’s symptoms nor their condition as of Thursday evening.
According to airport spokesman Marc Henderson, 148 passengers had to wait about two hours before being able to board a flight to their destination.
