Bomb squad blew up a suitcase near Bayfront Park. Roads reopen after shutdown
Miami police have ruled out out a possible bomb threat Sunday afternoon after responding to the scene of a "suspicious luggage."
Officials say the baggage was found in front of 50 Biscayne Blvd, just across the street from Bayfront Park. Miami's bomb squad investigated.
After blowing up the luggage, officials say, the situation was deemed safe.
Biscayne Boulevard was shut down for two hours from Southeast First Street to Northeast First Street in both directions. They have now reopened.
