North Miami Senior High placed on brief lockdown after report of weapon on campus
North Miami Senior High was placed on a brief lockdown Monday morning after reports surfaced that there was a weapon on campus.
Miami-Dade Public Schools Spokesman John Schuster said the school at 13110 NE Eighth Ave. was placed on lockdown at about 8:30 a.m., not long after students arrived.
By noon the lockdown had been lifted and police said they found no weapons.
