Breezy week ahead, with temperatures both hot and cold in South Florida
With a high in the 80s and a low in the 40s, South Florida will experience drastic changes in weather this week. But one thing will stay consistent: It’s going to be windy.
The warm-up began Monday, with highs in the mid-70s. The forecast calls for a temperature peak of 81 degrees by midday Tuesday with a slight chance of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be humid and breezy with a 40 percent chance of rain.
And then the cool-down.
Wednesday night will drop to a chilly 45 degrees in some areas of South Florida. Thursday’s high may not even make it to 60, and with the wind-chill, it’ll feel even colder.
By Friday, conditions may warm up, but there is a chance the cold air will linger.
Highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s will be the norm for the weekend, with a good chance of rain on Sunday.
