A Little Havana business that’s operated as a “day spa” under at least two different names has had its massage establishment license suspended by the state for six months.

When an undercover Florida Department of Health investigator dropped by Stress Relax Day Spa, 460 SW Eighth St., on Nov. 14, 2023, the department administrative complaint said, “Yanhong Jing offered to provide massage therapy services to the undercover investigator. Jing was not licensed as a massage therapist in the state of Florida.”

This is actually a two-for-one suspension by Florida’s Board of Massage Therapy. Earlier this month, the board used that l 2023 violation to suspend the massage establishment license of the current occupant of the address, Oasis Therapy Day Spa, for six months. State corporate records for both Stress Relax Day Spa and Oasis Therapy Day Spa list Yong Yang as president.

Oasis Therapy Day Spa gained its license on Jan. 26, 2022, according to the Florida Department of Health.

That building is owned by 456 SW 8 St LLC, whose president is Rafael Crespo.
