Are you a Florida Blue patient who can no longer get in-network care at Broward Health and Memorial Healthcare System in South Florida?

Thousands of people who have health insurance with Florida Blue, previously known as Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, have been locked out of more affordable, in-network care ever since pay rate negotiations between the Broward public hospitals and health insurer fell through last year. The standstill has left many patients with a difficult decision: find a new in-network doctor, or get stuck paying heftier bills for treatment and other care at the Broward hospitals.

How has the contract dispute affected your ability to get care at the public hospitals and some of the doctors affiliated with them? The Miami Herald wants to hear from you.

Are you traveling farther for care? Paying more? Searching for a new doctor?
