A state Board of Medicine final order posting Wednesday revoked the medical license of a Live Oak doctor accused in 2020 state complaints of twice grabbing female patients’ breasts.

Dr. Brij Bhushan Manohar Lal Rana, 73, had been licensed in Florida since July 1, 2011, according to his online Florida Department of Health profile. Although his profile says he’s also certified in Tennessee and American Board of Internal Medicine, Rana hasn’t been licensed in Tennessee since 2013 and he’s no longer board certified by the ABIM.

Rana had been banned from seeing female patients after a May 1, 2020, emergency restriction order. That order came two months after the second accusation in two years from female patients regarding Rana.

As described in the Florida Department of Health’s administrative complaint, both the alleged 2018 and 2020 gropings were at Urgent Medical Care in Live Oak and involved Rana wrapping his left arm around the women then grabbing a breast with his right hand.

The administrative complaint said the second woman reported Rana to the front desk nurse and left Urgent Medical Care.
