A Florida Department of Health administrative complaint against a dentist working in Miami-Dade at the time of the complaint was dismissed four months later after investigation by the state Board of Dentistry.

A letter emailed to the Miami Herald from Florida Department of Health assistant general counsel Caitlin Harden to Dr. Alberto Graupera’s attorney stated that the Board of Dentistry’s Probable Cause Panel “determined there was sufficient evidence to find that probable cause existed.

“However, after review of additional evidence resulting from further investigation of this complaint...the panel determined that this case should be dismissed without further prosecution.”

Graupera’s online license entry now reads “clear/active” and the July 2021 administrative complaint, which accused Graupera of falling short of the minimum standard of care during a procedure, was removed in November 2021.
