Baptist Health Primary Care centers will no longer be accepting walk-in clinic appointments in order to minimize potential COVID-19 exposure, the hospital chain told customers Saturday via email.

Starting Monday, Baptist said its Primary Care centers will be closing all walk-in services until further notice. They will remain open for scheduled appointments. In order to set-up an appointment at a Primary Care facility, patients are asked to call 786-596-2464.

Baptist urgent care centers and hospitals will still accept walk-ins, a Baptist Health South Florida spokesperson said via a text.

If you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, Baptist said that they have online caregivers available through their Care on Demand app. They are offering a code for a free visit through the app: CARE19.
