Subscribers, tell us how COVID has impacted holiday season plans with your loved ones

In an unprecedented year that’s kept all of us far apart, families across the country are scrambling to figure out how to pull each other closer together in a meaningful way for the holidays. For some, that means teaching your grandparents how to use Zoom; for others, the loneliest times in an isolated year are fast approaching.

That’s why we’re asking our subscribers how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted your holiday plans and what adjustments you’re making so you can still be with loved ones — even if you won’t be physically near them.

Will you try to recreate your mother’s famous Thanksgiving side dish for your housemates? Are you and your family, spread out across the country, holding a Christmas dinner over Zoom — and what dish are you making? Were you excited to see your grandkids for the first time in what feels like forever this Hanukkah, but COVID ruined those plans?

Tell us how you and your loved ones are adjusting plans for the holidays by filling out the submission form below, being as detailed as you can, and you may be featured in an upcoming story with other Miami Herald subscribers. We won’t publish anything without your permission, so you can expect to hear from us if we have any questions. We’ll be in touch soon.
