You can make more than $3,000 at a new COVID-19 testing site in Wynwood
You could make up to $3,250 to be a test case for coronavirus researchers at a new Wynwood COVID-19 testing site that opened Wednesday.
The site, which will also provide free COVID tests through Sept. 15, has paid research opportunities that range from $400 to $3,250.
But you have to first see if you qualify for one of the COVID research studies and then complete that study to collect.
Where is the testing site?
The research will be conducted by Xera Med Research, the same company that is providing the free COVID molecular/PCR tests at its site set up behind the Mana Convention Center at 2222 NW Fifth Ave. in Wynwood.
▪ The drive-thru car entrance is off Northwest 23rd Street.
▪ The pedestrian walk-up entrance is off Northwest Fifth Avenue.
▪ Testing hours are 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Also, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
How do I sign up?
▪ To sign up for a free appointment before Sept. 15 visit CovidTestWynwood.com. You can apply for one of the studies there, too.
▪ You can also call 305-503-9006 to book an appointment, and will be asked a series of questions, but organizers say the website is the fastest way to get an appointment.
