Music is a universal language, and it’s something that provides an escape during a pandemic that’s ripped through communities around the world.
So to help alleviate anxiety, stress and other worries about COVID-19, the respiratory illness from the novel coronavirus, to provide entertainment to a mass audience, several parody-styled songs have gone viral.
Popular songs have seen their lyrics and titles swapped out in favor of corona-themed ones.

There’s even been the original artists of popular songs changing their lyrics to fit with the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Neil Diamond altered his famous, “Sweet Caroline,” lyrics about COVID-19. And JoJo’s song, “Leave (Get Out),” was changed to, “Chill (Stay In).”

And Jon Bon Jovi wrote a verse and chorus for a song, “Do What You Can,” and asked people to write him a verse to tell their story during the COVID-19 outbreak.
