Welcome to Club Quarantine: Brickell DJ spins on his terrace until cops shut it down

Can’t do anything or go anywhere? Join the club in the age of coronavirus and social distancing.

But for two nights the party came to Brickell. Kind of, CBS4 first reported.

Local DJ Free Willy (aka William Berestka) went viral after he decided to work on his mixes out on his 24th floor balcony Sunday at SLS Brickell and (most) neighbors seemed to be loving it.

“Since Ultra was canceled, we decided to bring the party to Miami,” Willy wrote on Instagram Stories accompanied by video taken by his roommate Noah Tucker. “At first nobody was really vibing with us, but slowly the balconies started to fill up with people dancing. Before we knew it, we had hundreds of people partying with us. Thanks for the love, Miami!”

Insta video shows Willy doing his thing while fellow Brickellites listen and dance. The concert went on again Monday night, Tucker tells the Miami Herald. But eventually, some irritated residents had enough and called the cops.

“We did it twice and we got threatened to be evicted and police came the second night,” said Tucker. ”So no more parties unfortunately.”

Until Ultra next year? We hope???
