You’re going to have to wait for your next Duffy’s burger, Miami.

Duffy’s Sports Grill has temporarily suspended its operations at all 34 of its Florida restaurants due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The restaurants, with locations in Kendall, North Miami Beach, Plantation and Fort Lauderdale, had been offering takeout and delivery service after Miami closed down area restaurants in response to the Covid-19 threat. The last delivery service ends at 8 p.m. March 25.

“Here at Duffy’s we are a family, and as a family, we have been faced with tough choices in unprecedented times,” said Joe Webb, president of Duffy’s restaurants, in a press release, adding that that move was “a precautionary measure to ensure the safety for all our staff, customers, partners and the public.”

“We ask for the support of our communities through our shared vision during this temporary state, and eagerly await to serve our neighborhoods as soon as regulations have been lifted. Thank you to each team player and fan who has been with us every step of the way… we will get through this together.”

The company reports that it has furloughed its staff while extending health benefits through April 30 and will offer them food supplies to take home.
