Country music fans will have to wait a little longer for the annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival.

On Monday, organizers announced that the three-day festival on Fort Lauderdale Beach has been postponed to Oct. 2, 3 and 4 because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival, featuring headliners Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan, along with artists from other genres including Pitbull and Vanilla Ice, was scheduled for April 17, 18 and 19.

Every year — the festival was founded in 2013 — tens of thousands of people flock to the beach for the festival, which marries music and ocean conservation.

Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival is committed to the health and safety of our fans, partners employees, artists and the community,” organizers said in an Instagram post. “It is a testament to our festival, our fans and our cause that we have been able to reschedule the artists and announce the move all at once.”

Those who already have tickets will be able to use them in October.
