With its 3,875-square-foot suite, gourmet restaurants and all-inclusive offerings, the upcoming Seven Seas Explorer from Regent Seven Seas Cruises is proving popular.

The Doral-based cruise line said this week that bookings for the new 750-passenger ship, launching in summer of 2016, set a record for single-day revenues when reservations opened to loyalty program members on Jan. 19. Sales also set a weekly record.

A spokesman for the operator, part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, would not release specific numbers.
