Brickell City Centre developer lists penthouse for record figure

Swire Properties, the developer behind $1.05 billion mixed-use project Brickell City Centre, will list a Brickell Key penthouse for a record $12.8 million.

The apartment, nestled at the peak of luxury residential tower Asia, has never been listed. It was completed in 2008 amid a collapsing housing market, and Swire strategically withheld the nearly 5,000-square-foot condo under a private account.

The apartment, dubbed the “crown jewel of Brickell,” features floor-to-ceiling windows, décor by Brazilian furniture designer Artefacto, a private pool on a rooftop deck and 360-degree views of Brickell Bay.
