One Sotheby’s International Realty has acquired Miami Beach-based South Beach International Realty.

SBI Realty’s 70 employees, led by Diane Lieberman, will join Sotheby’s 475-person staff.

“Under Diane’s leadership, SBI Realty has been one of the area’s premiere boutique firms for the past 16 years,” Daniel de la Vega, president of One Sotheby’s, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have her insight and experience to help cement One Sotheby’s top-selling footprint in the luxury market.”

Lieberman’s clients over the years have included Ivana Trump, Chris Bosh and actor Kelsey Grammer, according to One Sotheby’s.

Real estate brokerages in South Florida have been consolidating as competitors from out of town enter the market. Earlier this summer New York-based firm Brown Harris Stevens acquired Miami Beach-based Zilbert International Realty. Also this summer Westside Estate Agency, of Los Angeles, opened its first South Florida office in Coral Gables.

And over the last year New York-based Douglas Elliman has been making an aggressive push in the region, hiring about 300 local agents.
