Hospitality king David Grutman is selling his Miami mansion in the sky for $7.2 million

A guy who knows a thing or two about how to have fun in Miami is selling his downtown place.
So called clubstaurant king David Grutman has listed his condo at One Thousand Museum at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard.
Price for the 4,600-square foot four-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion in the sky? $7.2 million. Dina Goldentayer with Douglas Elliman has the listing.
Not only is there tons of space, but gorgeous, panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and beyond.
Not that you’ll ever want to leave home, but the amenities at this 62-story beauty designed by late, great architect Zaha Hadid include a spa; beauty salon; juice bar; and even its own helipad. Within walking distance of the building are plenty of restaurants, parks and shops.
You’ll have a few famous neighbors, too. Museum Tower happens to be where David and Victoria Beckham lay their heads when in town.
So why is Groot selling? Don’t worry, the owner of such hot spots as Komodo, LIV and Swan is not leaving the 305.
In 2020, the married father of two paid $10.3 million to buy a 1933 villa out of foreclosure. The home was originally built for suffrage pioneer Jessie Adler. Last year, the Miami Beach Design and Review Board gave Grutman the OK to tear it down and build anew.
