The Related Group closed on a $136.88 million loan Monday for CityPlace Doral, a mixed use $800 million project that will bring luxury condos, apartments, single-family homes and 250,000 square feet of retail to the industrial suburb.
The loan from Regions Bank will finance Park Square Retail and Flats, which will feature 304 residential units and more than 30 shops and restaurants.
Retailers already set to lease space in CityPlace Doral, located at the intersection of NW 36th Street and 84th Avenue include The Fresh Market, a Kings bowling alley and a CinéBistro movie theater. According to a news release, the project is more than 60 percent leased.
This phase, designed by Arquitectonica and to be constructed by Suffolk Construction, is set to be completed in November 2016.
